From the lab to the environment

Our research group is run by Ángel Goñi-Moreno at the Centre for Biotechnology and Plant Genomics, Technical University of Madrid (CBGP-UPM).

We use computer science and synthetic biology to design, build and test living biological circuits. Combining theory with experiments we study how microbes and molecular systems process information, like environmental signals, and engineer new ways for them to do so.
